Hearing that you have stage 4 breast cancer at the age of 27 can sound hopeless.

“The great thing is, there’s no such thing as a non-treatable cancer. There’s always that sense of hope that comes with it,” Rebekah told us.

Her advice to young women is, even though recommended annual mammograms don’t begin until age 40, learn how to perform self-check ups and keep routine appointments like the one she went to at her OBGYN that first alerted her that something was wrong.
